During unknown times, we often look to the past to predict the future. With this decade being commonly referred to as the "roaring 20's" we see many parallels to the original 1920's within our own post-pandemic climate. People are looking to dress up again and, on the runway, we're seeing metallics, sequins, cuts outs, star and galaxy motifs, and mesh details used to depict personal style. During the slowdown of these past few years, we all had a little more time to relax and appreciate our planet, taking time to lay down and look at the stars. We also see a strong vintage influence stemming from Gen-Z preferred shopping habits, showcasing this 2022 futurism trend through a lens of the original 60s space age movement.
